How to Become a Supplier to the BBG

Open and transparent competition, the best results for the administration and taxpayers, maximum fairness and transparency for the economy.

All bidders have the same chance of winning and closing a contract - regardless of the size of the company. The Bundesbeschaffung (Austrian Federal Procurement Agency, BBG) has contracts with more than 900 suppliers, around 70 percent of whom belong to the small and medium-sized enterprise category.

The BBG is the reliable purchasing partner for ministries, federal states, cities and municipalities, as well as for outsourced companies, universities and healthcare facilities.

Open and transparent competition is therefore one of the indispensable basic beliefs of the BBG. It not only ensures the best results for the administration and taxpayers, it also guarantees the greatest possible fairness and transparency for the economy.

Procurement procedures are carried out on the basis of Federal Procurement Law. On average, the BBG publishes an invitation to tender every two days.

All bidders have the same chance of winning and closing a contract - regardless of the size of the company. Around 70 percent of BBG suppliers belong to the category of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The BBG therefore strongly encourages you to participate in BBG tendering procedures. You are welcome to register by sending a message to ausschreibung(at)bbg.gv.at for non-binding information on the publication of invitations to tender in your product range.
